Professional Services Representative

Our client currently has an opening for a Professional Service Representative. You will research and issue resolution by working with the client and their associates, vendors, payroll, systems, benefits analysts and Human Resources. To fulfill this role, the Professional Service Representative will: 
* Be responsible for preparing FMLA, STD, LTD, Military, Worker's
Compensation and other communications to management
* Deliver customer service to associates, managers and Human
Resources as it relates to all aspects of leaves of absence
* Learn and interpret total absence management plans and policies for 
 Human Resources and Benefits Center
* Coordinate all total absence management issues until full resolution 
   Develop and maintain a current and thorough knowledge of companies'
leave policies and plans
* Develop relationships between internal and external vendors associated
with clients as relates to plan areas and expertise
* Monitor all interface issues with Carriers, HR Systems, Compensation,
Payroll, Benefits and Human Resources on any projects or issues related to
designated policies or plan area(s).


Qualifications
* One to three years' experience in related field
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, employment law and workers' 
compensation law
* Ability to analyze patterns and trends
* Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with colleagues at
all levels
* Ability to work in a team environment and with remote teams
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Strong working case resolution skills
* Undergraduate degree an asset
* Clinical or vocational rehabilitation experience.
