Program Coordinator

CDI Process & Industrial has an opening for a Program Coordinator in our Chicago office.

 

Actively create and continually improve processes that meet or exceed our internal and external customer expectations. Actively and consistently contribute to ensuring a highly productive, cross-functional team environment within the CDI team.

 

Identify only highly qualified candidates for assignment to the customer. Perform this process in the most expeditious manner possible and with a high sense of urgency,  using both traditional and non-traditional recruiting tools as well as all regional and corporate resources.

 

Provide timely and accurate status reports to the On-Site Program Manager and to identify requirements where Supplier Associate involvement is required.

 

Responsibilities:

Job Requisitions:
Contact on-site team for job clarification, when necessary
Responsible for data input of LQM and RAPID
Ensures Data Integrity in LQM and RAPID
Conducts Employee Orientation
Notifies On-Site Manager on requisition approvals, extensions
Ensure all employee, SA paperwork has been completed
Monitors and ensure compliance with background and drug screen checks
Completes metrics on diversity hiring
Assists with employee and manager quality checks
Enter job requisitions into RAPID, including job description
Schedule and track drug tests, if necessary
Initiate badge process, if necessary
Communicate job offer to chosen candidates and coordinate start-date information
Contact on-site team with selected candidate information, when necessary
Enter candidate hire information into RAPID and close the requisition
Evaluate and interview potential candidates
check performance references as required
Enter new candidate information into the RAPID system
Maintain RAPID and LQM:

1. If initiating a change, complete change form and submit to on-site team after entering data

2. Enter data from change forms submitted by on-site team

3. Verify that all information stored in RAPID system is accurate and current:

a. Personal information for candidates such as current address and telephone number.

  b. Pay and billing rates, tax witholding data, per diem payments, etc., for new hires.

  c. Wage rate changes, benefit eligibility, etc., for current employees.
Consistently and accurately enter all Candidate Notes into the system
Telephone Communication
Process incoming telephone calls from potential candidates and employees
Interface with the on-site team concerning job requisitions, assignments, employee information, candidates, employee relations, etc.
Communicate end-of-assignment information to employees and on-site-team
Discuss employee relations with on-site team, client customers, employees, etc.
Initiate inactive status fro candidates not eligible for assignment (hard copy and RAPID system)
Review worker's compensation open claims status
Evaluate and implement effective cost controls.

 

Requirements:

Requires a minimum 2+ years interviewing experience or customer contact experience in a service-oriented environment. 

 

Demonstrated understanding and commitment to all internal and external customer expectations, and an ability to contribute to process improvement and commitment to following process standards.
Demonstrated verbal, written, and telephone communication skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to successfully communicatae and interact with people at many levels.
Proven ability to simultaneously respond to multiple job tasks, maintain high-level accuracy of detail oriented work flow, and ensure effective follow through.
General understanding of employment law, EEO requirements, sexual harassment policies, substance abuse policies, etc. is essential.
Intermediate level computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing. Required PC skills to include most recent Windows and Microsoft Office applications as well as Microsoft Outlook. Must also demonstrate intermediatae Internet skills.

 

Education:

Two years of college education or equivalent is required.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Managaement or equivalent experience is preferred but not necessary.

 

Skills:

Intermediate level computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing. Required PC skills to include most recent Windows and Microsoft Office applications as well as Microsoft Outlook. Must also demonstrate intermediate Internet skills.
