Quality Program Manager

Summary of Responsibilities

Candidate must be a highly successful, business-oriented professional who has demonstrable experience in the management of curriculum for Quality and Project Management programs. The Quality - Project Management Curriculum Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the strategic and tactical learning objectives in the areas of quality and project management for the MetLife enterprise.



The individual in this position must have experience implementing project and quality interventions in a highly complex, changing environment. Included in the individual's experience should be design of evaluation strategies, internal consulting with all levels of management, and quality program needs analysis. Additionally, the candidate must have significant experience managing large-scale projects, balancing quality, budget, and on-time delivery. Candidate must have 7+ years managing the training process for Six Sigma, Baldrige or other quality programs.Principal Responsibilities 1. Champion and facilitate the implementation of the Quality Management Solutions (QMS) and Project Management curricula.



2. Coordinate, assess and track the quality of curriculum design projects, planning and scheduling of training, and determining and measuring agreed upon learning metrics.



3. Communicate learning goals and objectives to stakeholders



4. Administer the company quality and project management programs in accordance with customer and company standards



5. Facilitate groups, conduct effective meetings, enforce accountability to keep projects on track



6. Maintain existing and confirm new required Quality Vendor relationships to meet training needs.Required Competencies - Excellent communicator with the ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of management

- Ability to negotiate training plans/budgets with internal clients and vendors without losing the quality of the learning experience.

- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors; and effectively partner/negotiate with MetLife-s legal and procurement teams.

- Knowledgeable about the learning & development market specifically in the area of Quality and Project Management programs.

- Partner with the Enterprise Quality Management team and additional business partners to assess project performance, deliverables, and quality program evaluation

- Conceptual knowledge of Quality and Project management tools and techniques of process improvement methodologies.

- Knowledge in the area of statistical analysis, data collection, and outcome measurement

- Experience in all facets of learning & development, including Assessment, instructional evaluation, meansuremet & evaluation of courses/programs, and developing training plans & budgeting.

- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines, in an evolving work environment

- Ability to solicit and use customer feedback to improve quality processes, products and services; maintain open, candid communications and consistent follow through with customers

- Bachelor's degree in instructional design or related adult learning field is preferred

- 15% - 30% travel
