DS Waters is dedicated to the production and distribution of bottled water products in the United States and is the leader in home and office water delivery (HOD). The core business focus is on the delivery of three-gallon, five-gallon, and ? litter single serve bottled water products to the home and office. DS Waters has a workforce of approximately 5,500 employees nationwide in more than 30 states. Water is bottled at more than 25 manufacturing facilities and then delivered by a fleet of over 2,000 delivery trucks to millions of homes and offices across the country.

We are seeking a highly motivated, out-going and energetic Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist.  This position will be based in Orlando. RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, provide HR support to client groups in the areas of staffing and workforce planning, employee relations, training and special projects. Recruit for qualified applicants by developing and cultivating local sources for applicants. Conduct screening processes such as interviews and employment days. Ensure completion of pre-employment requirements. Develop state-of-the-art selection programs.  Ensure completion of requisite skills training for new hires, as well as other required skills training to include program delivery, monitoring and/or testing. Resolve first step employee relations issues by providing consultation to management and employees; take appropriate steps to facilitate resolution. Ensure compliance with HR policies, practices and guidelines and applicable state and federal laws. Conduct scheduled orientation sessions for all employees. Coordinate and conduct workforce planning for exempt and non-exempt positions with emphasis on affirmative action objectives and compliance. Initiate process improvement by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements to obtain greater efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. Special projects as assigned. Frequent travel to branch locations required.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

BA Degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years as a HR professional with extensive recruitment experience. Excellent PC skills.

Communication:  Is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, and bosses; is effective both inside and outside the organization, on both cool data and controversial topics; commands attention and can manage group processes during presentations; can change tactics mid-stream when needed.  Is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.

Interpersonal Savvy:  Relates to all kinds of people, up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can diffuse even high tension situations comfortably. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of employment recruitment techniques, including behavior-based interviewing. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
