RECRUITING SPECIALIST
We are currently seeking a Recruiting Specialist for the Johnston, IA area.
This position is an integral part of the Regional Financial Office (RFO) recruiting team. It is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of the RFO attraction and selection process. This position is also responsible for developing nominator relationships and providing high quality candidates to meet RFO staffing goals. This position will emphasize field activity over office administration.
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Execute RFO recruiting activity in support of staffing goals.
Develop/Maintain a pool of prospective candidates for production roles.
Build & Maintain relationships with nominators (associates, institutions, business leaders, etc).
Assist management team to meet recruiting goals.
Apply candidate selection process in collaboration with RFO management and corporate office.
Assist with college recruiting efforts and career fairs within the region.
Work with others in similar roles within Thrivent and the industry to build a "best in class" recruiting organization.
Position Qualifications:
College degree preferred or industry related experience
Prior sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Ability and willingness to travel as position requires.
Knowledge of Lutheran community and financial services industry
General computer skills (Windows-based software and Internet usage)
