REGIONAL RECRUITER

SUMMARY: The Regional Recruiter reports to the Director of Recruiting and works closely with regional management throughout New England to identify current and future Pharmacy openings, sources and recruits experienced Pharmacists as well as Graduate Interns and Undergraduate Interns attending New England-based colleges of Pharmacy.


Major Duties:
Develops a pool of candidates for Pharmacist positions throughout defined region in four New England states, traveling to locations as needed using company car.

Develops strong working relationships with Pharmacy School Deans and Career Services departments. Sets up on-campus events, on-campus recruiting, interviewing days and presentation dinners.

Uses a variety of recruiting tools to attract new Pharmacists such as Internet recruiting, applicant tracking, cold calling at competitor pharmacies, job fairs, job posting, and advertising.

Screens resumes, performs phone interviews, writes and presents offer letters within established market and corporate guidelines including negotiating offer terms.

Tracks and maintains spreadsheets detailing college recruiting results, event evaluations, new hires, licensing and other recruiting statistics.

Works closely with new hires to ensure their experience is of the highest quality.



Requirements:

Bachelors degree
At least 2 years of professional level recruiting experience
Willingness to travel throughout New England, some overnight travel.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Experience making presentations and planning events
Ability to make cold calls to competitors
Ability to work remotely in a position where initiative, planning and independence are required.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
