We seek to hire a College Recruiter for our Management Training Program (MTP). This position will require travel of approximately 60 - 75% of your year within United States and Canada, being away from your home base  office anywhere between 3 days to 5 weeks at a time.

 

Within this position you will be responsible for managing recruiting at colleges, universities, for the Management Trainee Program (MTP) within Accredited Wholesale, Axiom Financial Services, Home Funds Direct and Canadian our divisions.

 

In addition, you will:

 

? Discuss hiring needs with Division Managers; including communication with Hiring Managers on the employment process. (Source candidates, screen resumes, pre-screen candidates, set up on-campus or initial face-to face interviews, conduct interviews, select candidates for final interviews, complete reference checks, provide interview coaching to candidates, facilitate final interviews, select candidate, extend offer)

? Facilitate and conduct final interviews with selected candidates.  Provide insight to division management and assist in final decision on selecting candidate.

? Develop and maintain relationships with universities career centers, clubs, organizations and professors nationwide and within Canada. Conduct presentations in classrooms, business events, etc. 

? Conduct initial interviews with university students on-campus and junior military officers.

Determine which candidates will move forward to an initial/on-campus interview and a final interview with Division Management. 

? Attend military recruiting hiring conferences: conduct PowerPoint presentation on AHL and MTP to candidates, conduct face to face interviews, select candidates to move forward to final interview.

? Responsible for posting Management Trainee Program on university websites and is accountable for resume databases through university recruiting sites.

? Responsible for screening resumes received from Universities, Military sources and employee referrals on a daily basis.  Must also conduct resume searches when necessary.

? Head hunt candidates throughout the US and Canada when limited on candidates, through university databases, military sources and Real Estate licensing databases.

? Coordinate job fairs through selecting location, arranging the details of expenses, advertising, etc., to solicit candidates and select candidates to move on to on-campus interviews.

? Arrange travel and lodging for candidate at company expense through MTP coordinator and candidate.

? Provide coaching and mentoring to all candidates prior to final interviews.

? Correspond with candidate to notify them of employment consideration.

? Set-up marketing items, marketing packets, flyers.

? Direct candidates to company website when needed.

? Send thank you replies when necessary.

? Maintain all recruiting reports and hiring reports.

? Create PowerPoint and Marketing Literature for MTP.

? Travel to colleges and universities within Canada and the United States.

? Travel to division offices, retail offices, within Canada and the United States.

? Travel to military recruiting events within the United States.

To be considered for this position:

 

? Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Industry experience preferred.

? Advanced MS Office Applications skills.

? Advanced Internet and E-mail Applications skills.

? Intermediate level MS Access skills.
