Recruiter I (Bilingual)

Summary/Responsibilities of this position:

The Houston Division Recruiting Team currently has openings for assertive, self-motivated people interested in working closely with store management teams on strategic manpower planning and staffing for 69 stores in Houston and the surrounding area.  Responsibilities of the Cluster Recruiter position include screening applications, interviewing applicants, attending store and community job fairs, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, resolving customer concerns and handling various administrative duties, including weekly and period reports. At this level, qualified candidates are gathered from available applications and by using recruiting networking techniques. This level of recruiter will interview candidates for operational non-exempt, non-management positions.  This position is open to candidates who meet the qualifications and are interested in furthering their career with H-E-B Houston.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.

? Recruit external candidates for operational non-exempt, non-management positions

? Review and discuss the performance of candidates with interviewers

? Builds networks within the community to source talented candidates

? Provide selection/interview training to store management teams.

? Forecast staffing needs and maintaining a proactive staffing plan

? Assist candidate with new hire activities and training 

? Assist in projects related to the recruitment of candidates for our division, including new store staffing

? Provide weekly, period and quarterly staffing reports for area of responsibility to HR Leader

? Respond and interact with store and division teams; receive/send/respond to email

 

Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in Business, HR or in related field; or 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess strong proven leadership skills Must be self-motivated, professional and conscientiousStrong customer service and team orientationStrong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with various levels of Partners within the organization.Strong collaborative work-style with internal and external teams.Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills PC literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and e-mail.Peoplesoft experience preferredBilingual (Spanish/English) preferredAbility to travel (may include overnight stay)Must be available to work flexible hours (on limited occasion) including night, weekends, holidays.
