Internal Talent Recruiting Associate
Position Profile Provide staffing support for open positions throughout the assigned organization; assist with the recruitment of high potential Guidant candidates through campus recruiting, Junior Military Officer (JMO) recruiting, and traditional recruiting sources. Serve as an enthusiastic and knowledgeable spokesperson for Guidant to potential employees.
Full-Time Experienced Hire RecruitingConsult with management to determine anticipated recruiting needs.
Sources potential candidates through all relevant venues, including the internet, internal referrals, recruiting agencies, and job fairs.
Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings.
Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company.
Check references and extend formal job offers.
Report metrics to management to demonstrate timely and cost-effective recruiting practices.
Participates in company-wide teams to design and improve recruitment programs and processes.
Ensures compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action regulations by tracking applicant data according to company procedures.
Campus/JMO RecruitingCoordinates all campus recruiting at each targeted school; provides direction to campus recruiting teams.
Establishes relationships with the appropriate campus placement offices.
Assists in making offers and gaining acceptances from selected candidates.
Works with functional business units to determine campus recruiting hiring needs; sets appropriate targets for campus recruiting teams.
Develops and implement a campus advertising and image strategy.
Reports metrics to management to demonstrate timely and cost-effective campus recruiting practices.
Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
