Recruiting Coordinator / Recruiting Assistant

The Recruiting Coordinator's / Recruiting Assistant's primary responsibility is to support the recruiting activities of the SF office of a global IT and business consulting firm.

 

Ideal candidates must have prior experience scheduling interviews in a fast-paced work environment and solid written and verbal communication skills.

 

The ability to manage a high volume of work and deliver top-quality results within aggressive deadlines is critical, as is sensitivity to the confidential nature of the work.

 

Duties to include:

o Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews (may include occasional travel arrangements)

o Post jobs on various online job boards and websites

o Follow-up with candidates, gather candidate application and candidate feedback forms

o Coordinate all incoming and outgoing correspondence as it pertains to candidates

o Coordinate all logistics for interview days and any other special event as assigned

o Track candidate activities in recruiting database after each process step and provide status reports as requested

o File documents and miscellaneous administrative tasks

o Assist in campus recruiting efforts as needed

o Other projects as needed

o If needed, candidates must be willing to travel to San Jose at least 1 day per week, using own transportation

 

Skills:

o Minimum 2 years of related experience in a Human Resources Assistant role, preferably supporting a recruiting department or recruiters

o Four year college degree preferred

o Must be extremely accurate, organized, detail-oriented, process driven and customer-service focused

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Professional attitude and ability to work with all levels of staff and management

o Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

o Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

o Quick-learner with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

o Demonstrated initiative, dependability, and excellent time management skills

o Quick to comprehend new processes, with the flexibility to alter processes as needs change

o   Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel (Pivot Tables) and Powerpoint. Experience with MS-Access and Lawson is a plus. 

o Position is located primarily in San Francisco with possibility of 1 day per week in San Jose.

o   Local candidates preferred

o   May be called to work overtime on short notice
