Recruiting Manager - Entertainment Event Staffing Company

Seeking enthusiastic RECRUITING MANAGER for special events staffing company!

 

Staff Pro is the West Coast?s premiere event staffing company. We staff concerts, red carpet movie premieres, award shows, conventions, trade shows, festivals, sporting events and other special events in the entertainment industry with personable individuals to work as ushers, ticket takers, guest service representatives, audience management and security!

 

We are currently looking for a RECRUITING MANAGER to help us find those energetic individuals to work as ushers, ticket takers, guest services and security guards at prestigious venues such as Coors Amphitheater, San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego Convention Center and more.

 

Position will be based out of our San Diego office right behind the San Diego Convention Center; however, this full-time position requires hands-on field work which will require the recruiting manager to spend most of his or her time out of the office working within the community to recruit top-notch employees.

 

The recruiter needs to be self-motivated, organized, an excellent communicator and must be willing to work ?on-the-field? meaning that the recruiters will work within the community to establish relationships with important contacts and develop innovative recruiting methods to help Staff Pro find great employees.

 

Aside from field work, position is required to maintain our core employee numbers, place ads, create recruiting publications, and various other recruiting related tasks.

 

In addition to recruiting, this position will also be in charge of new-hire orientations & training.

 

Must have your own reliable transportation since much of your job will be driving in the area in which you live. You may give presentations at schools, churches, senior centers, sporting groups, job fairs and more.

 

Must be comfortable meeting new people and speaking in front of groups. Must be honest and hard-working. This unique position requires a lot of individual AND team work! Organization is an absolute must for this job.

 

Job requires some night and weekend work. However, you can (90% of the time) make your own schedule in regards to the night and weekend time.

College degree is preferred, but not required.

 

Salary is $31,000 - $34,000 based on experience.
