Recruiting Specialist/HR Generalist

AJM Packaging Corporation, one of the nation?s largest and fastest growing manufacturers of converted paper products, including paper plates, cups, bowls and bags, is currently seeking a hard charging, no nonsense professional uniquely skilled primarily as a ?recruiting specialist? but, also, as a ?human resources generalist? with working knowledge of, and experience in, wage and benefit program design and administration, organizational behavior and industrial relations, regulatory compliance, employment law, safety and training, workers compensation, risk management, EEO and unemployment insurance.? Your job will be to recruit, train, mentor and retain the ?best? and the ?brightest? individuals available for all positions at AJM regardless of whether it?s an executive level job at corporate headquarters you?re filling or an entry level job in one of our plants.

Better than 90% of our 1,000 employee strong work force reside in our plants and you?ll, therefore, spend the preponderance of your time traveling between, and working in, our six (6) manufacturing sites located in Detroit, Michigan ? Taylor, Michigan ? Atlanta, Georgia ? Folkston, Georgia ? Brentwood, New York and Joplin, Missouri.? Qualified candidates should have at least a four (4) year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in either Human Resources, Organizational Behavior & Industrial Relations or related field, extensive recruiting experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment and a passionate and unrelenting desire to succeed at all costs as well as the talent, creativity and resourcefulness to do so.? In other words, ?I can?t? should not be part of your vocabulary.? Spanish language skills a definite plus.? Recruiting assignments will include skilled and unskilled manufacturing positions, technical, professional, office, clerical, administrative, managerial and executive level positions.?
