Recruitment Assistant
The Recruitment Department is responsible for sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates. Other Recruitment functions include coordinating advertisements, special recruitment events as well as running background checks on potential candidates. Recruitment also administers Temporary Staffing and initiates the New Hire Paperwork process.
This position will assist the Recruiters with the administrative duties throughout the recruitment process, which includes new hire orientation, generating offer letter and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure application process of new candidate is complete.
- Presentation of New Hire Orientation on first day of employment.
- Log and maintain new hire paperwork and ensure compliance by verifiying necessary documents are complete and comply with federal, local and state regulations.
- Generate offer letters.
- Prepare background checks for processing.
- Act as liaison between Recruiters/Managers/employees/external candidates.

Preferred Skills/Education:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent. College preferred.
- PC proficiency in MS Word, Excel and database operations.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Good follow through abilities.
- Knowledge of HR functions including federal and state labor laws and guidelines including EEO.
- Self-motivated, discreet, resourceful and detail-oriented.
- 1 -3 years in corporate environment; 1 year in Human Resources preferred.
