Regional HR Representative - Cincinnati, OH

Dick?s Sporting Goods is one of the nation?s fastest growing retailers with over 265 stores in 34 states. We are seeking an HR Rep, responsible for all HR activities in a region consisting of 35-45 stores.

The Regional HR Rep:

Builds business partnerships with all levels of the region's management team
Interprets/develops company policies, supports business units, conducts exit interviews
Recommends courses of action and provides documentation to management in support of actions taken regarding Associate behavioral and performance issues
Ensures compliance with both federal/state employment law
Conducts Associate complaints and recommends/implements courses of action
Communicates and recommends changes, with regard to the annual performance appraisal process for hourly associates
Prepares position statements for all employment related litigation, inquiries, or government changes
Conducts Human Resource training (i.e., policy and procedure training, sexual harassment training, performance appraisal workshops, etc.)

Successful Candidate Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral)

Experience:

2+ years of HR generalist experience with an emphasis in employee relations

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related experience.
