Regional Training Manager

The Opportunity: Real Mex Restaurants has opportunities open for field Training Managers in concepts and locations across the Company. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing training support for the hourly and management team members in one of our Regional Training Stores. Training for this position will require completion of the 8-week manager training program and 3-6 months working as a restaurant manager in one of our restaurants. This is a great opportunity for a restaurant manager to make a shift in their career from Operations to Training & Development. Key responsibilities will include the following:
? Oversee the Manager in Training (MIT) Program for assigned region
? Conduct orientation for new managers
? Provide classroom-type training for multiple new managers focusing on topics such as hospitality and service philosophy, policy and procedure, HACCP compliance, safety
? Coordinate eight-week MIT training schedules customized to trainees experience level
? Support Chef in Training program in Regional Training Store working in caollaboration with the training Chef
? Support new manager and hourly trainer certification programs
? Support new store openings upon request
? Restaurant management duites as needed

Qualifications:
? Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
? Great attitude and ability to be a team player
? Excellent organization, project management, attention to detail and time management skills
? Strong ability to explain information in a way that is easy to understand and retain
? 2-3 years restaurant management experience
? 1-2 years experience training new managers
? Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
