Research Consultant

Maxwell Drummond International was established in 1987 Scotland to serve the evolving needs of clients in the North Sea.  With offices in Houston, Calgary, and London, the global team at Maxwell Drummond is interactive both functionally and geographically, enabling us to effectively and efficiently deliver solutions on a domestic and international level.  

 

The Houston office is currently undergoing growth and is looking for a team oriented person who will be responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, and phone interviewing candidates for various searches on which our organization works. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with co-workers and potential candidates as well as develop effective partnerships with internal clients in order to understand their business needs.

Responsibilities will include sourcing candidates by effectively networking with the industry.  We have an established database, but the successful individual will need to be comfortable with initiating out bound calls through cold calling individuals.  The successful individual will pre-screen candidates and schedule interviews with consultants, follow up with candidates and assist with the placement process.

The successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent business experience required.
Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to be self directed and focused.
Experience in using the Internet to obtain business information and willingness to learn about new positions and industries.
Excellent communication skills ? both writing and speaking.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
Experience in interviewing and evaluating candidates is a plus.
