Resource Planning Manager

The Resource Planning Manager will be accountable for the development and the implementation of the Strategic Performance Unit (SPU) resourcing strategy, plan, policy and practices.  This includes technical staff, executive and hourly level employees.


Accountabilities Include:

Developing and delivering SPU resourcing strategy for all disciplines and levels.
Leading the SPU Annual Organizational Review and Talent Management Plan.
Establishing and leading network of SPU discipline leads and engage them in delivery of the SPU resourcing strategy.
Understanding the business context and how Human Resources (HR) can effectively add the most value.
Utilizing best practice and benchmark standards to diagnose, design and implement resourcing processes/products.
Interacting with other HR leaders to understand overarching BP issues and to leverage ideas from other groups/teams.
Ensuring SPU resourcing strategy recognizes cultural diversity and inclusion principles and their impact on BP's performance.
Understanding the people ramifications of globalization and internationalism.
Developing and delivering assessment processes to identify, recruit and deploy top talent.
Using leading edge technology to transform HR services in support of the business.


Required Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Resource Planning Manager applicants must have:

A minimum of a Bachelors Degree or higher.
A minimum of 8 years of experience forecasting business needs with respect to personnel.
A minimum of 1 year of experience driving HR strategy.
A minimum of 1 year of project management experience.
Strong analytical skills.
The willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 5% or more of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this job.
Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.


Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:

A Masters Degree or higher.
A minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience and knowledge.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a highly matrixed organization.
International exposure and/or experience.
