Retirement Programs Specialist

Providence Health & Services is recruiting for three full-time Retirement Program Specialists in our corporate Human Resources office. Primary duties in the System Retirement Office include: inputting data to prepare retirement benefit calculations and estimates; processing distribution applications; answering employee questions, preparing form letters and other communications to retirees, employees, Providence human resources/benefits staff, and others; answering toll-free PROV R2R Service Center calls and emails, and responding to requests for information and follow-up; compiling data and summary information and preparing reports and presentations as necessary; and participating in projects as assigned.

Required Skills:
Minimum qualifications for consideration include the equivalent of an Associates Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, or a related discipline and a minimum of two years of relevant retirement or benefits experience. Experience with personal computers: word processing and spreadsheets is required, preferably with Microsoft Office Suite software. Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal) are critical for successful performance in this position.
