Safety Manager

KFx is a rapidly growing company that offers combined energy, environmental and economic solutions to coal-fired power generating facilities and industrial coal users in the United States.  KFx currently has a market cap in excess of $1 billion.  KFx is currently seeking a Safety Manager that is highly motivated, a self-starter and has outstanding leadership and organizational skills. 

 

Responsibilities:Implement and manage all safety procedures Maintain safety records and reportingPlan and execute mandatory MSHA trainingMaintain training recordsOversee task trainingPlan and execute a safety incentive programCoordinate MSHA inspectionsPerform site safety inspectionsManagement of site security Coordinate with contractors to ensure all KFx safety requirements are metScreen and respond to safety suggestions and coordinate the execution of safety upgrades to the facility

 

Qualifications:Minimum B.S. degreePrefer ten years of safety program experience in a coal-related industry, minimum of five Effective leadership and communication skills Computer skills
