3 Day Blinds, "America’s Window Covering Specialists", is currently looking for a Safety Specialist. We are the largest manufacturer and retailer of quality, custom window coverings in the United States with over 160 showrooms in 15 states. Anaheim, California is home to our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility.

Safety Specialist Responsibilities:

? Support and assist in maintaining the health of employees
? Lead the company’s Emergency Response Team
? Train and develop the company’s First Responder Team
? Conduct safety orientation and training sessions for employees
? Develop, implement and manage safety programs, policies and procedures
? Maintain safety and accident records
? Administer worker’s compensation injuries, claims and records
? Obtain working knowledge of Anaheim FD rules and regulations as they apply to our facility
? Conduct monthly safety walks and inspections of the facility. Report finding to VP of People and VP of Manufacturing
? Meet with production management team to implement corrections to findings.
? Investigate causes of injuries and recommend corrections.

Experience and Qualifications:

? Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical school
? Minimum 4 years professional experience plus working knowledge of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations
? Ability to work independently
? Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
? Excellent organizational skills
