Segment HR Manager

Desired Education, Experiences & Skills:

 

Business partner with line management to ensure business strategies and decisions take into account people and organizational implications
Translate business strategies and decisions into HR initiatives and actions
Assist and guide line management on HR operational issues
Develops and drives region-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., performance salary programs,  grant refresh, training and development programs, relo, immigration processes, workforce planning and organizational change) and lead the implementation within client groups
Develops new programs and initiatives to meet line management needs and add business value; these programs may include organizational development and change management, facilitation of meetings
Coach and advise business leaders in the leadership and management of their teams
Under broad direction, provide specialized expertise for compensation, training, and/or international related programs, policies and initiatives
Advocate to both employees and managers for employee relations matters
Provides legal advice and support to leaders
Shares knowledge across the HR team and continuously develop and enhance personal and team capabilities

 

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resource preferred.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resource functions including three or more years supporting engineering divisions

Expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: recruiting, employee relations, training & organizational development, compensation

Experience with working for MNCs and matrix environment
Must understand the dynamics of the business and its strategies to advise business leaders on organizational design, development and effectiveness

Demonstrated ability to drive HR practices to create healthy and effective organizations
strong leadership, consulting, negotiating, team-building and organization skills

Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative HR programs, initiatives and solutions

Excellent communication and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior and executive leaders

Demonstrable understanding of business requirements, industry trends and human resource-related practices

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to gather unrefined business requirements from multiple sources and formulate and deliver a solution in a timely manner
