Senior Benefits Analyst
This position will be responsible for the administration and implementation of the company?s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability and 401(k). This position will act as primary liaison with employees, HR departments and benefit vendors for research of benefit issues and problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
? Administer all benefit programs providing counseling and direction on all benefits issues to HR staff and employees
? Manage the open enrollment process for the organization, including communication of materials, system enhancements and vendor management
? Manage vendor relationships for day-to-day benefit administration and to ensure high customer satisfaction.
? Ensure compliant and efficient operation of all benefit plans
? Provide benefit data analysis and support
? Provide support for implementation of required legislative and/or compliance-related or program design changes to all benefit plans
? Oversee work with ADP BenAdmin system to ensure data integrity, necessary data feeds to outside vendors and consultants, etc.
? Provide support for drafting and review of communication materials
? Maintain strong knowledge of employee benefits with an emphasis on compliance requirements
? Ensure adequate and current documentation of all health and welfare plans
? Support on-going communications campaigns to employees regarding benefit plans
? Assist in preparation of government filings and required audits to benefit plans
? Resolve or ensure resolution of issues related to benefit plans regarding eligibility, participation and contributions
Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree or related work experience
? At least 5 years' Benefits experience
? Must have full knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA and FMLA laws
? Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
? Ability to effectively interact with third-party service providers to obtain desired results
? Ability to understand various deadlines and utilize resources to meet those deadlines
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
? Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
? ADP payroll and benefits system knowledge is a plus
