Senior Compensation Analyst
Summary:
Responsible for developing analyzing and effectively administering global compensation programs, policies and procedures to contribute to the organization?s ability to attract, retain and motivate qualified personnel.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and monitor incentive plans for support professional group. Prepare financial and operational analysis of plan impact to productivity/profitability. Partner with Finance and Operations management in aligning incentive plans/goals with business metrics.
Develop and deliver communication materials to educate and explain incentive programs to eligible employees.
Manage incentive payment process including tracking and eligibility verification. Design programs to verify computations. Calculate awards for exception situations and makes adjustments/corrections as necessary.
Administer annual review process globally. Work with management to ensure timelines are met.
Maintain new pay programs (base and variable) and review pay structures on an annual basis to determine pay structure and salary increase movements. Prepare recommendations for management?s review on the latest market trends and develop various models for costing purposes.
Analyze jobs utilizing questionnaires and interviews to collect job related information, prepare job descriptions to document job content, scope and specifications. Ensure job specifications are valid given the content of the job and compliant with FLSA guidelines.
Evaluate jobs using market data and whole job slotting. Utilize third party surveys to collect relevant and reliable data that is applicable to the jobs being evaluated. Exercise judgment in assessing job comparability and the relevance and quality of the available data.
Review various third party salary survey information and select surveys that best represent the main sectors of the business. Participate in surveys by preparing survey input and ensure job comparability and relevance of matches. Review salary survey output to assess the validity of the job matches.
Monitor compensation practices from a legalistic standpoint to ensure compliance with various laws and regulations such as FLSA, Title VII, Equal Pay Act, Americans with Disability Act, etc. Notify management of patterns that appear to violate such laws and regulations.
Provide accurate, relevant and timely information and assistance to internal customers, striving to maintain the highest quality and customer service standards in all areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
Skill in providing an exceptional customer experience.
Skill in verbal and written communication to analyze, interpret and address customer needs.
Skill in conducting job analysis and writing job descriptions.
Knowledge of contact services industry and best practices.
Knowledge of PC applications.
Knowledge of compensation methodologies and techniques including incentive programs.
Knowledge of international compensation practices.
Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Bachelor?s degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience.
