Position Overview:

Develop, implement and administer the compensation programs and processes within Sony Ericsson North America ensuring competitive pay levels.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Processes - Create and maintain detail process flow and documentation as it relates to job responsibilities.  Make recommendations for modifying/changing existing processes, procedures and systems in order to streamline compensation processes.

? Base Pay ? Supports the annual salary review process by taking a lead role with participating in salary surveys, benchmarking and evaluating market data and conducting analysis to make recommendations for management.  Lead role for implementing and administering the merit increase process.  Review all ?off-cycle? salary changes to ensure consistent application of policies and internal equity across the organization

? Incentive Programs ? assist with developing and implementing the Sales Incentive and Short Term Incentive Plans.  Lead role for implementing and administering the programs 

? Job / Market Evaluation - use Mercer?s IPE methodology of job grading; create and maintain a database with all IPE evaluations.  Review job descriptions and make recommendations on compensation levels for individual jobs.  Develop and maintain job title structure.

? Consultant - function as an internal consultant on compensation practices by supporting HR Advisors and HR Recruiter in making job offers, determining job levels, job titles, etc.  Provide information by auditing and ensuring accurate compensation data in SAP and by maintaining updated market data/salary structure.

? Metrics - Prepare monthly / quarterly metrics

 

Education and Experience:

? Bachelor?s degree required

? CCP designation preferred

? 5-8 years of experience

? Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate), & PowerPoint

? Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Access preferred

? Knowledge of SAP HR- PA and OM preferred
