Senior Executive Recruiting Associate

Kensington International, an Executive Retained Search Firm headquartered in Oak Brook, IL has an outstanding opportunity for an Executive Recruiter to become an integral team member of the organization. This individual will report to the Director, Search Operations and will be responsible for supporting Search Consultant(s) by researching, sourcing, and recruiting qualified candidates for hire by our clients for a variety of positions. This position, while not having sole responsibility for the search project completion, does share with the consultant responsibility for satisfactorily meeting the client?s needs. Principal Duties and Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, budget, and implement a comprehensive strategy in cooperation with the Search Consultant which will result in identification of potential candidate names for direct contacting for recruiting and networking purposes.

2. Research relevant firms in terms of industry participation, product involvement, geography, and/or function for developing a company target list as a basis for candidate name generation. This activity is performed with the Search Consultant and/or Director of Research.

3. Continue to work with Search Consultant, Director of Search Operations, and /or other recruiters throughout the search process to ensure that a pool of qualified candidates are generated until the search is completed and a candidate is hired. It is critical that searches adhere to the time frame outlined in the search process and initial package.

 

Technical Skills Required

1. A college degree and a minimum of two-five years business experience, preferably in a recruiting capacity.

2. Computer literate preferably with knowledge of Windows, Word or WordPerfect and a database management system.

3. Must have excellent project and time management skills.

4. Excellent communication skills with an ability to assess, qualify, and close via the telephone in a professional manner.
