Senior Field Human Resources Generalist
The Senior Field Human Resources Generalist will oversee employment activities at our field office located in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Other duties will include but are not limited to:
Planning/directing and/or conducting activities concerned with developing sources of qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, administering tests, checking references and backgrounds, evaluating applicants' qualifications, and arranging for preliminary indoctrination, orientation and training for newly hired employees according to company policy.
Keeping records and compiling statistical reports concerning recruitment activities, interviews, hires, performance management/appraisals, transfers, promotions, and terminations, utilizing knowledge of job requirements, valid selection processes and legislation concerning equal employment practices.
Coordinating employment activities, such as those concerned with preparing job requisitions; interviewing, selecting, and hiring candidates; on-the-job indoctrination and additional training; supervisory follow-up, development, and rating of employees; and conducting exit interviews.
Analyzing statistical data and other reports concerning all aspects of employment function in order to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and to develop and present recommendations for improvement of establishment's employment policies, processes and practices.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of five (5) years of HR experience in a generalist role with strength in recruiting and managing hourly field employees. Expectations for this position include:
BS/BA in Human Resource Management or related field preferred Knowledge of Oil Industry preferred (maintenance and turnaround) Ability to influence all levels of management and staff, including experience providing management and leadership for multiple sites while maintaining core allegiance with corporate direction and processes Results-oriented self-starter focused on continuous improvement Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills Requires knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and workplace laws Requires strong knowledge of HR and Operations policies, systems and processes Computer knowledge essential, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of HR database systems Successful candidate must meet all conditions of TIMEC?s Drug and Alcohol testing requirements as a condition of employment. Drug / alcohol screening is administered post-offer and pre-employment.
