Senior HR Business Partner
SUMMARY
The individual is responsible for providing full range of HR business support to client groups within BEA's WW Services organization. In a "partnering" capacity, will educate, advise, and influence client groups' on issues involving (but not limited to) employee relations, employee development, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development. Will work closely with client groups and corporate HR teams to identify, design and implement HR initiatives that support the business needs of the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with senior management and VP level executives to identify organizational issues. Conduct organizational assessments and develop strategies to address needs and implement solutions.
Provide client organization with appropriate advice and counsel on employee relation's issues and ensure corporate employment policies and procedures are consistently and equitably applied.
Provide VP level executives and corporate HR teams with analysis of client organizations' "health" by analyzing trends in employee satisfaction, attrition and turnover, etc.
Contribute to the design and administration of compensation plans and when necessary provide appropriate counsel, education and training to client organization.
KEY SKILLS:
Demonstrated ability to drive major initiatives through the organization and influence decision makers at all levels
Ability to successfully manage in a matrix environment and to influence/lead across a diverse, geographically dispersed, multicultural environment
Ability to effectively manage projects, including developing project objectives, prioritizing responsibilities, delegating tasks, executing project deliverables, and tracking and measuring to successful completion
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
8 to 10 years' experience in a professional HR management position, preferably within a Professional Services organization.
Experience working in global business environments
Demonstrated track record of providing HR business support to client organizations of 250+ employees
TRAVEL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is based in San Jose, CA. Travel requirements are present on a quarterly basis; namely to attend business operation reviews. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, WW Services HR
Qualifications
Qualifications/Necessary Skills:
Demonstrated success and ability to work efficiently in a very fast paced environment.
Highly effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal laws governing employment, working conditions, etc.
Ability to work independently in day-to-day situations.
Ability to influence Sr. Management regarding advanced issues affecting activities and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment.
Strong ability to execute/drive for results.
A minimum of 8 years professional level HR experience.BS or equivalent
