Senior HR Consultant - Diversity

The position is located in Northbrook, IL.

Products & Services:

Develop and oversee the diversity strategy training and measurement; manage affirmative action planning and reporting in compliance with federal guidelines; manage and provide consulting support for affirmative action plan development, equal pay analysis, and ergonomics assistance; build external relationships that promote Allstate as the employer of choice; and Work/Life program development and implementation.

 

This position will be responsible for implementing strategies that support processes created to attract, retain, and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce; foster a culture of inclusion; increases awareness among employees, managers and leaders regarding the strategic integration of diversity within the workplace.

 

The individual will be responsible for:

1. Implementation of new strategic Affirmative Action initiatives, while managing or redeveloping current programs, development of action plans along with process metrics.

2. Implement processes to manage and provide consulting support for equal pay analysis

3. Implement processes to support the continued development of the strategic diversity education strategy and measurement.

 

The skills required are:

1. Advanced - Experience with delivering communications to an outside audience.

2. Advanced - Strong decision making, problem solving and negotiating skills

3. Advanced - Effectively receives, interprets and disseminates information verbally and in writing in a manner that is clear,

concise, and actionable

4. Advanced - MS Office

 

Experience Required:

5-7 years of demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility in a corporate diversity function with the ability to handle Affirmative Action, Equal Pay Analysis, Survey Submission, Vendor Management, Benchmarking, or Research processes

 

 

Education:

Bachelors

Masters/MBA - Preferred
