Job Description:
1. Operate as a Human Resource partner with assigned business unit(s) in the areas of recruitment, performance management, retention, employee relations, policy and procedure interpretation, training, etc. Proactively identify changes in local economic market conditions. Develop and prepare reporting as need.
2. Partner with the Lead HR Generalist, provide recommendations/suggestions in the areas of performance management, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling and training of assigned HR coverage team.
3. Research/handle employee/manager inquiries on HR policies/procedures, payroll, FMLA, ADA, Worker?s Compensation/Unemployment and associated hearings, Affirmative Action and all non-Disability Leaves of Absences; serve as a liaison with the Disability Leave Unit and communicate resolutions to employee/managers. Escalate to Lead HR Generalist and/or Legal, as appropriate.
4. Conduct employment, retention and exit interviews.
5. Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
Required:
1. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
2. 5 ? 7 years HR experience.
3. MS Office Word, Excel, etc experience.
4. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
