Senior HR Representative

TransUnion?s Human Resources Team is looking for a Lead Human Resources Representative who will be responsible for coordinating and administering the day-to-day operations of the Central Processing Department; concentrating on processing all employee life cycle transactions in an accurate and timely manner.  This includes daily maintenance of the HRIS system (employee and benefit data entry), employment offer/separation packet preparation, verifications of employment and performs various other projects and duties as assigned.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the associate relations activities, salary administration, and associate benefits administration for multiple TransUnion divisions.  The incumbent assists management in the application of company polices and procedures, and in special projects as assigned.

Responsible all PeopleSoft data entry associated with new hires, recruiting, terminations and appropriate communication with Generalist, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers. 

Has responsibility for entering and extracting relevant information from the HRIS system including merit, LOA, and status change PAF?s.  Is responsible for running queries and reports.


Is responsible for, and administers associate benefit programs including open enrollment, ensuring all associates are initially informed and notified of any changes, and processing paperwork as necessary.  Establishes a first point of contact for associates and act as a department resource to  inquiries regarding the benefit programs.

May perform duties in connection with the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll.

 

This position requires a college degree or a minimum of two years relevant work experience in the Human Resources field.  The incumbent must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management, associates and outside contacts. 

The ability to analyze and effectively recommend policy and procedures is essential to the incumbent?s performance.  The incumbent must handle multiple operations and work in an independent manner. 

A thorough knowledge and understanding of company policies, procedures and organizational structure is essential to the position.

 

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources administration role, processing employee life cycle transactions is required. Prior HRIS database knowledge also required (preferably experience using PeopleSoft). Familiarity with HRIS report writing preferred. Must have strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as excellent multi-tasking, time/project management skills. This position requires the ability to handle highly confidential information, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees, including executive management.
