Senior HRIS

PETCO has an opportunity for a HRIS Analyst to provide functional PeopleSoft and HR systems support to all HR users and customers and interface with the IS group to identify and implement robust and scaleable systems solutions to HR business applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

?Define and evaluate HR business processes based on business requirements and best practices, and map against PeopleSoft functionality
?Partner with other internal and external customers and groups to analyze workflow, recommend improvements, and implement integrated processes and systems
?Serve as HR analytical expert providing essential information for a dashboard of trends in all areas of HR
?Perform PeopleSoft HRMS table set up and maintenance.
?Develop and analyze regular and/or adhoc HR reports to identify trends as specified in the report's business purpose
?Develop and maintain PeopleSoft documentation of processes and procedures
?Provide PeopleSoft training to end users
?Conduct research, analyzing data, making recommendations, drafting memos and reports of findings, developing survey instruments, and making formal presentations to management
?Recommend analytical methods and tools to enhance the decision-making process
?Research and recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve problems
?Recommend and document solutions to requirement gaps and system standard functionality
?Other special projects as assigned

Education and Experience:
?College degree or equivalent experience
?4 years of HR experience, preferably with a strong HR generalist and HRIS background
?Minimum of two years experience in PeopleSoft 8.0 or above;
?Additional HR systems experience preferred, (i.e., Learning Mgmt Systems, Performance Mgmt Systems, Time and Attendance and others.)
?Previous knowledge of table setup and maintenance, Query, Crystal, SQL, Excel and Access preferred
