The Recruitment & Diversity Services Department is responsible for the creation and delivery of recruitment strategies and programs to meet the hiring needs of the Walgreen Company.



Essential Skills:

Senior Healthcare Recruiter will coordinate a team of Healthcare Recruiters ; Will assist in meeting established hiring targets; Generate qualified candidates through cost-effective efforts (i.e., alternative sourcing) ; Develop knowledge of the marketplace to ensure competitiveness in hiring; Coordinate interview process; Source to particular strategy as defined in the performance metrics. Ensure compliance with EEO/Diversity program. Serve as communication liaison for everyone involved in staffing process. Accurately report and track candidate data as requested; Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned. Trained on Behavioral Interviewing techniques. This position will support Walgreen corporate and Walgreens Health Services positions.





Qualifications:

BA/BS in Human Resources or related degree; 5+ years work experience of recruiting in the healthcare field is a must. Excellent verbal/written communication & interpersonal skills; Show ability to act a leader among team members; Experience recruiting key health care professionals, management and health care professionals using aggressive pro-active approaches. Experience in strategizing with management department heads in planning and implementing new hiring.Excellent verbal/written communication & interpersonal skills; Show ability to act a leader among team members. Knowledge of multiple recruiting sources with mastery in one or more. Proven understanding of Recruiting and sourcing concepts, AIRS, Boolean etc. Demonstrated ability to execute healthcare staffing strategy; Demonstrated efficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software; Microsoft Office preferred. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at one time. Previous database/recruiting software experience preferred (various Applicant Tracking Systems, Peopleclick).
