General Job Description:
Maintain and administer human resources policies, procedures and programs for an assigned regionAdvise employee and management personnel on the interpretation of Human Resources policies, programs and proceduresCarry out responsibilities in employee/management relations, training, safety, AA/EEO, compensation, benefits, employment, policy development, Human Resources legal issues and researchWork with the Human Resources Generalist staff to plan, implement and accomplish department projects and goalsManage 3-4 recruiters in full-cycle recruiting efforts and strategic recruiting strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources or related field (preferably a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in HR)Five or more (5+) years of solid, progressive HR experiencePrevious supervisory experience preferred Master's Degree (preferably a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in HR) and PHR/SPHR certification are definite pluses but not requiredBi-lingual in Spanish is preferredWorking knowledge of HR related state and federal laws and regulations (including Title VII, Affirmative Action, FMLA, EEO, ADA, OSHA, etc.)Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and recruiting metricsExcellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skillsExceptional internal/external customer service skillsAbility to confidently deal with all levels of employeesWorking knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as an ability to quickly learn new computer systems such as Lawson's HRIS
Work Schedule:
Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime and travel required.
