Senior Manager, Human Resources

Group Overview:   The Schwab Human Resources team is focused on partnering with the business on people and organizational development needs.  We play a leadership role in integrating HR initiatives with business strategies. Additionally, we provide expertise in growing and developing our leadership talent, leading key HR initiatives, and enhancing our performance management process while spearheading initiatives that are critical to the company's success.


 


We are looking to expand the HR team in Client Phone Services with a results-oriented, influential and creative HR professional with a career of demonstrated achievement in Human Resources. This person will work closely with the business to implement strategic HR programs and resolve day-to-day HR issues


 


 


Responsibilities:


 


· Provide strategic and operational HR consultation to the Client Phone Services Team


· Ensure goals and priorities are aligned with business needs


· Participate in decision-making on people/organizational development needs


· Develop and implement solutions to organizational and people related challenges based upon HR expertise and in-depth understanding of the client's business


· Ensure that priorities support effective and efficient service delivery to clients


· Identify business needs and partner with functional group peers (e.g., staffing, compensation, benefits, talent development, business training) to ensure we are developing appropriate  products, tools and solutions;  provide ongoing feedback and input into the design/implementation of HR philosophies


· Ensure communication between HR and the client group is timely and complete


 


Qualifications:


 


5-7 years of progressively responsible HR experience with exposure to and demonstrated competence in all functional areas

Substantial successful experience consulting with all levels of management

Business viewpoint and be able to think and speak from a tactical and also from a strategic viewpoint

Strong customer focus and be able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence

Possess strong change management skills, i.e., comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments

Have a results-focus, being able to quickly sort through information and develop concise and clear solutions

Have courage/confidence to deliver constructive feedback and coaching to clients

Prior Financial Services HR Generalist experience preferred

Bachelors in Human Resources or related field required, MA preferred
