Service Manager HR Management Systems
Advises functional area management regarding solutions to problems of various complexities using strategic HR resources, reviewing processes and developing supporting programs.
Establish processes, procedures and documentation to maintain all required databases and files with a high accuracy rate and achieving/exceeding specified volumes.
Services as designated HIPAA Security official.
Utilizes process innovation techniques to enhance accuracy and volumes while continuously driving down cost per transaction.
Develops and maintains HR Intranet to provide employees timely, accurate information about all HR functions.
Maintains contact with systems communities through participation in various user groups, certification programs, training sessions and seminars to maintain an understanding of current market conditions and trends that impact companies.
Manages a team dedicated to timely and accurate processing of approved employee actions.
Prepares or supervises the preparation of special reports and analyses.
Masters Degree plus 4 year experience, or
Bachelor"&tm;s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with 8 work years experience, or
12 years experience with HRMS systems with 5 years in a supervisory role.
Required Skills:
This position frequently works with the most sensitive employee data and is required to constantly exercise the highest professionalism and discretion to protect such information.
This position is required to participate in and/or lead functional and cross-functional process innovation teams to improve current work processes that result in decreased cycle time, improved data integrity, standardization of work processes and data input, and interpretation of adopted procedures.
Some travel is required to maintain the highest level of customer service, to keep abreast of current technology and training affecting the HR Management Systems.
As the HIPAA Security official for Dresser-Rand, this person is responsible for:
Developing and implementing D-R"&tm;s security policies and procedures.
Developing and implementing D-R"&tm;s educational programs related to security.
Conducting audits and compliance reviews of the security program.
Reporting periodically to management on matters regarding security compliance.
Administering the contracting process with business associates and trading partners.
Monitoring the development of systems and procedures for compliance with security standards and practices.
Advising the information-systems/technology staff on security matters related to the security of protected health information.
Advising staff on security matters related to the use and disclosure of electronic protected health information (EPHI) and methods for de-identification and re-identification of information.
Serving as the organization"&tm;s point of contact for security-related complaints and litigation.
Resolving non-compliance matters, including administration of sanctions.
