Job Responsibilities:
The Site HR Manager/Recruiter will provide human resources leadership and generalist support for a 175-person organization. As the senior HR professional on site, the HR Manager will foster a positive work culture that emphasizes shared values, a business focus and personal accountability. Major responsibilities include:
-Coaching managers to help enhance their leadership capability.
-Managing all local recruitment, including sourcing, managing open houses, screening, and interviewing, all while ensuring a cost effective and efficient process.
-Conducting new employee orientation.
-Counseling managers regarding performance management issues ensuring appropriate and fair treatment.
-Delivering management and employee training.
-Acting as a resource to managers and employees regarding employee relation issues, company policies and procedures.
-Developing and implementing programs focused on increasing employee engagement and retention.
-Providing ?front-line? benefits support.
-Providing input to Corporate HR on new initiatives, policies and practices and responsible for implementation.
Requirements:
-Bachelor?s degree in business or related discipline.
-5-7 years' generalist and management support experience.
-Strong technical competence in key human resource functions (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, etc.).
-Ability to effectively consult, coach and influence individuals and teams.
-Strong business acumen and the ability to initiate and manage the change process.
-Ability to express ideas effectively and authentically, both verbally and in writing.
-Strong customer orientation and personal integrity.
-Results driven with the ability to balance day to day/operational focus with future/strategic focus.
