Solutions Center Lead Specialist

Description:
Solution Center Specialist review and answer in-depth customer inquiries of a human resources nature via-email and telephone. General duties include researching inquiries, responding to these inquiries in a friendly and informative manner using outside resources and documenting problem resolution steps.

The Lead is responsible for overall day-to-day delivery, which includes: managing risks, delivering on targets, and planning and executing day-to-day operations. Provides functional consulting on system capabilities. Coaches and manages associates in the day-to-day execution of their job as annual goals and objectives. Involved in posting monthly client metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies.
Provide client inquiry and problem resolution service
Receive, log resolve and escalate for resolution employee issues and problems
Ability to perform problem resolution on complex payroll and human resources issues
Track open and closed employee related requests
Perform data integrity checks
Investigate and resolve data errors
Perform employment and wage verifications
Write system specifications and perform User-Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Sign-off on UAT results
Perform post implementation review and QA

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll Operations
Understanding basics of Accounting
Eight + years of Payroll experience in human resources, compensation, payroll, etc., as a human resource generalist or specialist
Experience managing staff and running an operation
Strong customer services skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand various systems and how they fit into our delivery
Familiar with metrics, root cause analysis and problem solving
Strong attention to detail and execution
Strong analytical skills
Able to document requirements of process improvements
Strong background in quality assurance activities

Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes
PeopleSoft
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional work experience
