Sourcing Manager

Sourcing Manager     The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing sourcing channels to market and build a long term community of prospective candidates.  This person will be focused on sourcing high quality prospects against common profiles versus specific requisitions. 

 

This role is responsible for the marketing to the sourcing channels that focus on prospective candidate communities, to produce candidates in the short and long term, as well driving initiatives that positively impact employment brands. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Manage the internet based recruiting outreach channel for the finance and LCA functions. The activities within this channel will focus on establishing industry presence, engaging talent and positively impacting the finance and LCA employment brands at Microsoft.  This can include content review of LCA and finance career sites, blogging, user and discussion group participation, driving events, virtual events, etc.

 

Manage direct marketing campaigns (external and internal) targeting active and passive finance and LCA industry talent. These campaigns will be based on an email push methodology and will target strategic job profiles.

 

Actively engage and manage relationships with finance and legal professional and alumni associations that can be leveraged for talent sourcing. 

 

Manage geographical networking event channel framework for finance and LCA talent.  Engage key stakeholders including staffing and business unit leadership

 

Maintain internal virtual staffing communities for finance and LCA including driving communication and best practice sharing. 

 

Take on additional staffing projects focused on key strategic needs, as identified.

 

Assist with metrics and reporting for pipe demands and other operational purposes, including hiring trends and performance analysis to enable strategic planning around sourcing strategies.

 

Qualifications:

 

8 + years of related experience

 

Recruiting expertise, internet sourcing, excellent verbal/written communication skills, strategic thinking, and innovative sourcing channel experience.

 

Bachelor?s degree required, MBA preferred.
