Sourcing Specialist for Clinical and Regulatory

The qualified candidate will work with a team of internal recruiters who support PDL?s talent acquisition efforts for 3-6 months. We are seeking an individual who has the ability to identify passive candidates, develop positive relationships and ?sell? individuals on the attributes of joining PDL BioPharma.

 

Responsibilities:Sourcing candidates through cold calling, Internet data mining, direct recruiting and networking.Building relationships with prospective candidates with the primary focus on lead generation and the development of candidate profiles.Acting as an ambassador of PDL BioPharma by marketing the company with each candidate contacted.Creating a database of prospective candidates for use by in-house recruiters.Assessing candidate qualifications by conducting thorough phone screens.

 

Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in the Life Sciences or Business Administration.Direct sourcing experience, gained in an agency or corporate setting, focused on the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.Proven success in lead generation.Advanced knowledge of Boolean search strings.Persuasive marketing and selling skills.Must enjoy cold calling candidates.Ability to effectively understand and communicate PDL?s value proposition.Ability to work independently with a high level of motivation and tenacity.
