Specialist, Sr Employment - 100557 - Valencia, CA - 0300

Job Description: Primary Function -To recruit candidates for a variety of open positions, particularly technical positions at mid- to senior levels.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Utilizes a variety of methods (networking, internet searches, ongoing research) to source original, qualified candidates for positions in multiple disciplines (engineering, clinical research, product management, regulatory affairs, sales, marketing, etc.).
-Counsels hiring managers on recruitment strategies.
-Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and referring job applicants to specific job openings.
-Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
-Prepares ratings on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides candidates with information on the company. May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, etc.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Recruiting in a corporate environment (some agency ok), recruiting for multiple disciplines and industries. Some technical recruiting experience preferred. HR generalist experience a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Experience
- Minimum five years of recruiting experience

Education & Training
- BS or BA
