Sr. Employee Relations Analyst

Job Responsibilities: The ER Senior Analyst position is located in Gap Inc.'s San Bruno office and acts as an internal consultant leading the global Employee Relations department in the development and management of reports, trends/metrics, systems and related data driven processes.
Leads the semi-annual compliance and reporting process for the Compliance and Risk Committee and various HR Leaders
Identifies potential trend reporting issues and recommends appropriate solutions
Provides technical and analytical support to the department for databases, software applications, PeopleSoft, and other reporting tools
Serve as a technology liaison within the department and IT and HR Operations
Assist with project management and process design for the implementation and administration of ER programs and processes
Act as the Records Coordinator for the department, ensuring compliance with records retention schedules
Trends, Metrics, & Reporting (50%)
Provide analytical consultation with ER functional area leaders to develop reports and metrics and diagnosis issues.
Lead the entire semi-annual compliance reporting process for the planning, creation, and implementation of reports for the Compliance and Risk Committee and various HR leaders.
Provide the ER leadership team with technical and analytical support for presentations and projects.
Give oversight and coaching to select team members on management of trends and reporting data.
Educate the department on trends and metrics best practices and available resources.
ER Technology Systems Support (30%)
Provide technical and process design consultation to ER functional area leaders regarding the end-to-end development and ongoing administration of ER tracking systems and data processes for Code of Business Conduct (COBC) case management and reporting, severance, crisis management, and other ER databases.
Responsible for understanding Gap Inc. systems such as People Soft and vendors? systems such as Link2 and the COBC Hotline.
Responsible for Lotus Notes Call Tracking database administration.
When necessary, enlist IT services to update location tables, ensure completion and accuracy of updates, and proper distribution of data to all appropriate parties.
Responsible for HR COBC investigation metrics and partners with COBC Administrator to conduct regular data integrity audits, identify issues, ensure timely correction of information in collaboration with IT where necessary.
Serve as the "back-up" ER COBC Hotline Administrator when necessary, responsible for managing day-to-day processing of the Code of Business Conduct Hotline HR reports, reviewing initial assessment of escalated hotline issues, determining report dissemination, and updating tracking and reporting databases.
Support the exploration of additional ER technology solutions as needed, including cross-functional business solutions.
Serve as intermediary between ER and IT business units to build query solutions and develop self-service query capabilities within the ER team.
Answer questions and complete tasks that would typically be sent to IT and/or HR Operations to enhance the technical capabilities of the ER team.
Project Management (15%)
Assist with the project management and process design for the implementation and administration of ER programs and processes.
Provide thought partnership to ER Project Manager on PMO related activities.
Records Retention (5%)
Act as the Records Coordinator for the department, ensuring compliance with records retention schedules.
Responsible for educating, auditing, and ensuring global ER?s technology solutions supports the Gap Inc. records management program, including the department?s shared drive.
