Purpose:

Successful candidate must have demonstrated a full range of sourcing and recruiting competencies in complex, technical organizations. This position is responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates for current and future needs in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, finance, human resources and other functional areas to support medical device product development.

 

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to source and fill positions. Conduct strategy meeting with managers to gain a strong understanding of the position?s core and functional competency requirements to develop and implement sourcing strategy.  Conduct screens of all candidates to present qualified candidates to hiring managers.  Facilitate pre- and post-interview meetings with interview teams to gain feedback and evaluations based on predetermined competencies. Conduct reference checks, extend and negotiate verbal offers and partner with Talent Acquisition staff to deliver written offer to candidates. Ensure completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens. Partner with administrative staff to deliver written confirmation and new hire paperwork.  Maintain detailed compliant documentation from sourcing through on-boarding and understand equal employment regulations governing all aspects of selection.  Continually improve systems and processes related to successful acquisition of talent.

 

This position requires strong communication with hiring managers and HR Generalists. A high level of customer service, the ability to relate to individuals at all levels and insightful judgment in order to make sound decisions throughout the process are key to success in the position.

 

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Business Administrative degree in Human Resources, Management or Industrial Relations with 5 plus years technical recruiting experience in a high technology and manufacturing environment.

Effectively use Peopleclick candidate tracking tool.

Evaluate candidates and analyze pre-employment information.

Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR colleagues to improve staffing processes and systems.

Manage time and multitask.

Use Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft applications.
