Sr. HR Generalist-Business Partner

Primary Responsibilities: Translate business strategies into appropriate HR initiatives and action Consult and drive organizational effectiveness issues with line management Provide HR leadership in driving various HR programs and initiatives Assist with identifying, developing and retaining key talent Assist line management to maximize employee contribution and commitment Coach managers on resolving issues and work to resolve escalated employee relations issues Provide guidance and direction to less experienced HR generalists Perform limited recruiting assignments Provide consultation on change and employee communications initiatives Consult on organizational design issues Serve as a subject matter expert (within the HR function) on 2-3 HR/OD program/competency areas Requirements: Bachelors degree in HR of business management, graduate degree preferred 7-10 years progressive HR experience including the following; organizational development, organizational effectiveness work. complex employee relations, and training facilitation skills/experience. Must be able to provide solid examples of experience with above. Strong business acumen Good follow through and project implementation skills. Excellent influencing skills Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to prepare employee communications for company-wide distribution Preference will be given to candidates with PHR or SPHR certification Technology industry experience is desirable but not required Demonstrated experience working in and at times leading cross-functional teams Some exposure to working with international teams or supporting global business units Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel, prepare documents using Microsoft Word and generate presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle for HR and Lotus Notes is desirable. Only candidates with U.S. work authorization that does not require sponsorship will be considered for this position...
