Sr. HR Generalist & HR Generalist (2 positions)



StaffingMaster is currently assisting our client, Moen Incorporated, in the search for 2 positions; Senior Human Resource Generalist and a Human Resource Generalist.

Both positions are located at the Sanford, North Carolina facility.   POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Senior Human Resource Generalist and the Human Resource Generalist will serve as an associate advocate, internal consultant and business partner with management on human resources issues impacting the performance of the manufacturing operation and all support functions.  Most of the duties listed below will be shared between both positions but some specific responsibilities will be assigned to the Senior Human Resource Generalist.

 

?  Coordinate recruitment, hiring and associate transfer processes.

?  Manage and coordinate the promotion process for associates.Conduct new associate orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.Develop and coordinate various associate relations, plant activities and associate communications.Provide counsel to management and associates to resolve associate relation issues and facilitate communications.Administer hourly compensation program to ensure compliance and equity.

?  Develop, conduct and implement training programs.Provide effective associate service through timely, professional, accurate responses to associate questions and concerns.Participate in environment, safety, health, security programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment.  Measure performance and develop strategies and programs to drive continuous.  Administer benefit plans and communicate benefit information to assure timely associate service.  Administer policies, make decisions, and respond to inquires regarding policies procedures and programs to facilitate consistency and equity.Manage Worker? Compensation claims.  Interface with Worker?s compensation third party administrators.Facilitate legal and regulatory compliance to all internal and external reporting entities by preparing and maintaining required reports, handling unemployment claims, and conducting required investigations.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor?s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.  SPHR, PHR Certification preferred4+ years? Human Resources experience primarily within a manufacturing environment.  Hands on experience in a broad range of human resources areas including: employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits, HRIS, safety/health, organizational development, and training.Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities working in a fast paced environment dealing with fluctuating priorities and minimum supervision.Must have the flexibility to work extended hours to support plant needs on off-shifts as required.Group facilitation and presentation skills.  Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to work flexible hours that are necessary during plant operations.Computer experience preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
