Sr. Manager, Training & Development

Position Description:

We are currently searching for an experienced Sr Manager, Training and Development to add to our dynamic team reporting to the Director of Training and Development. You?ll be responsible for managing the business needs and expectations of the training department as well as managing trainers, programs and projects to ensure consistency and quality in workflows and policies and procedures. Also manages the creation and implementation of effective training progams that provide continued learning career development for both Triad's employees and the training team. Key responsibilities include:
? Oversees the development and delivery of training materials
? Builds effective, collaborative relationships with business partners and within the T&D team
? Partners with manager to identify business needs and develop timely, relevant solutions
? Manages department staff which includes: candidate selection and retention; employee coaching and counseling; appraising performance to identify training, development needs; rewarding and recognizing employees; and adopting practices to ensure a positive and safe work environment
? Manages multiple projects/initiatives at one time
? Participates in the development and administration of the department budget; approves the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; approves expenditures and implements
budgetary adjustments as appropriate and necessary
? Reports training effectiveness and impact to upper management
? Trains all levels of exempt and non-exempt employees (Trains the trainers)
? Conducts needs analysis and consults with the business to proactively identify training needs
? Ensures training investments are managed effectively to improve earnings, profits and expense management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
8 - 10 years related work experience

SKILLS
Sound knowledge of learning principles
Excellent group and one-on-one facilitation and presentation skills
Proven ability to develop training modules
Knowledgeable with measuring training effectiveness and producing results
Strong delivery and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent leadership, problem solving and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Excellent analytical skills
Proven ability to build and Lead effective teams
