Senior Recruiters provide recruiting and consulting services to support the business needs of a respective client group and/or business line. Senior Recruiters utilize proactive recruiting techniques and develop industry contacts to hire qualified and talented individuals who mirror Washington Mutual's culture and brand.

Senior Recruiters work closely with managers to clarifiy job specifications and requirements, discuss, learn and job shadow business operations to develop recruiting strategies to fill current and further staffing needs. Recruiters Seniors provide on-going training to managers, less seniored staff members on bank and legal hiring/interviewing practices and procedures.

Recruiter Seniors creatively recruit by developing sources, successfully execute recruitment strategies, market and sell the company's attributes. Recruiters partners with co-workers and their clients to review, analyze and reduce turnover, meet current and future hiring needs, and assist in the development and rollout of retention programs.



Strong Recruiting experience
Experience identifying and securing sources of potential job candidates
Experience analyzing and developing turnover and retention programs
Experience recruiting qualified candidates from a variety of sources
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and internet mining techniques
Exceptional training, mentoring and customer service skills
Experience analyzing business needs to develop and execute successful recruiting strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience working with all levels of management.
Knowledge of state and federal laws as they pertain to hiring and general human resources practices
Experience training, mentoring all levels of management and co-workers
