Sr. Technical Recruiter - Employment Representative 5

Defining the future. Join the men and women of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in meeting the largest, most complex systems challenges imaginable for government, military and business.

The Sr. Technical Recruiter will be responsible for providing full life-cycle recruiting support for a variety of technical and non-technical positions at all career levels. Creates effective staffing and candidate sourcing strategies. Searches for and pre-screens candidates. May perform reference checks. Represents NGMS at Professional and Collegiate Job Fairs and Open Houses. Develops and posts staffing requisitions using Taleo. Maintains accountability for updating the RIS database so that it accurately reflects all staffing activities.


 








The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to source and hire candidates with clearances. The ideal individual must be creative in their approach in sourcing candidates through direct and/or personal networking and Internet searches. Also must be able to handle a high-volume of openings while maintaining flexibility and professionalism. Must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and the HR team. Provides feedback for recruiting reports. Other special assignments and lead functional roles may be assigned.



Experience in the following areas is required:









Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of recruiting experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.


Experience with the entire life cycle of recruiting externally and internally to include sourcing, resume review, candidate screening, candidate selection, interviewing, and offers.


Experience in Internet recruiting, applicant tracking systems


Experience with project ramp-up and destaffing situations.


An understanding of employment laws and regulations.


Ability to work independently and as a team member.


Excellent interpersonal skills.


Strong presentation skills.


Excellent multitasking and time management skills.


Experience supporting job fairs.


Experience working with Internet recruiting systems to include developing and posting of requisitions and tracking interview/hiring statistics.


Must be a permanent resident or US Citizen.





Experience in the following areas is an asset:









Experience with federal contract recruiting.


Experience with PeopleSoft.


Experience with Taleo


Knowledge of NGMS's employment practices.
