Job Overview:
This position is responsible for resource management for AERS (Audit and ERS).? This position evaluates client needs, assigns appropriate staff based on skill assessment, communicates scheduling assignments and resolves conflicts. Regular communication with all clients (leadership, practitioners, project managers, regional resource manager, HR and Finance) is required.
?
Responsibilities:
-The position must balance both economic and operational issues with critical human resources issues such as career development, employee relations and performance management.?
-Determine and schedule appropriate staff to clients based on engagement skill assessment and client service professional skill ability and career development goals.
-Understand the skill sets and career goals of client service practitioners and how the skill sets relate to specific staffing needs.?
-Ensure optimal utilization of resources by addressing conflicts, analysis of available data and communicating
conflict resolution with engagement management teams.??
-Serve as primary point of contact for client service practitioners within assigned scheduling geography/service line/industry.??
-Run reports required for assignment group and understand how they relate to local and regional operations/goals.
-Serve as an HR advisor to client service professionals to evaluate career development plans and make appropriate assignments; identify potential management issues based on feedback from staff and appropriately communicate those issues; consider HR-related issues in resource management (e.g., travel, work/life balance, WIN and Diversity initiatives, etc.).
-Communicate resource management-related issues with client service and peer resource management professionals.?
-Share best practices within the resource management function and support implementation of new systems, processes and procedures.
-Awareness of utilization and pipeline outside of your staffing pool (service area, region/sector
and function) in order to maximize utilization and ensure best practitioners are positioned for each opportunity.
-Monitor and track skills and resume maintenance.

In addition, this individual will effectively coordinate activities of the practice with HR and OS&T, such as:
Recruiting
-Align with leadership to determine recruiting needs - requires understanding of marketplace needs, current staff skills.
-Work with campus/experienced hire recruiters to onboard new practitioners.
Learning
-Understand available learning programs.
-Recommend appropriate and relevant training to support practitioner and practice goals.
-Work with learning organization to ensure that appropriate processes have been followed and approvals gained for training.
Human Resources
-Participate in new hire orientation.
-Work with HR to identify and accommodate practitioner HR issues where needed.
-Provide feedback to management and counselors on staff performance and objectives
.
-Participate in various HR processes, where appropriate, i.e. retention, workforce planning, performance management, etc.
Finance
-Work with Finance Managers on forward-looking projections and other analysis as needed.

??A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
??A college degree and applicable experience is required.?
??Experience may be achieved through work experience within the resource management/human resources functions
??Requires strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills.?
??Word processing, spreadsheet and related software skills are required for this position.?
??Negotiation and conflict resolution skills are essential.?
??The ability to organize, evaluate and assess data, then make appropriate recommendations based on this review is essential.?
??Must be able to identify and respond to both operational and human resources issues within the practice.
??Strong understanding of firm's business preferred.
??Ability to work
independently and as a team member.
??Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and work well under pressure.
??Professionalism to work with confidential information.
