Staffing Coordinator summary:

Our client, a Fortune 500 Company, is currently seeking to hire Staffing Coordinator in San Antonio, TX for a 3-month contract position; potential to extend. Candidate must be able to start immediately. All candidates are required to pass an extensive criminal background.

Staffing Coordinator is responsible for: Working directly with our client?s managers to understand role requirements. Serve as single point of contact to communicate candidate qualifications and status. Manage daily communication via phone, email, and in-person. Screening our client?s candidate?s resumes to determine skills and experience match with open roles. Roles include, but are not limited to, Business Systems Analyst, Program Analysts, User Acceptance Test Leads, and Program Managers. Contacting our client?s candidates to discuss open positions and gauge interest and fit in roles. Coordinating and scheduling screens with our client?s consultants if appropriate. Serving as primary link with our client to secure candidate availability and communicate staffing status. Managing tools used to track, organize, and publicize open roles as well as the candidate pipeline. Tools include the Urgent Staffing Spreadsheet and Open Role report. Tracking staffing metrics for use by PMO leadership. Metrics include, but are not limited to, open roles, filled roles, client delay days, and spend credits. Maintaining our client?s staffing knowledge repository. Repository includes, but is not limited to, the resume pool, candidate histories, and client role requests. Balancing workload between Technical Screener and Staffing Coordinator and across functional and technical roles if needed.

Requirements: Experience working in an executive or client-facing environment. In a project environment a plus. Experience in Human Resources or Recruiting. IT industry a plus. Experience with candidate pre-screen and qualification processes. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Outstanding interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to handle internal and external contacts with diplomacy. Strong ethics and business principles with demonstrated ability to handle situations of confidential nature. Demonstrated ability to use considerable discretion, initiative, and independent judgment with minimal direction. Demonstrated success in a work environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Solid Understanding of the Software Development lifecycle. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
