Staffing- Office Supervisor

Adecco, the global leader in the Staffing Industry is seeking a talented individual work as an Office Supervisor (Staffing Specialist) in the North Orange County area.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision, optimize efforts to service clients in a high quality, cost-effective manner through recruiting, interviewing, hiring and placing employees with primary focus on achieving financial goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Interview, hire and place temporary employees. Identify qualified temporary employees through recruiting and interviewing activities to create an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demand.

2. Fill and service client orders. Maximize use of Adecco’s office technology to ensure optimum, cost-effective, timely and high quality results.

3. Support the Branch Manager to ensure that financial goals and objectives are met or exceeded while ensuring full compliance on all Adecco policies and procedures. Provide accurate, timely and complete daily performance analyses.

4. Ensure high quality of standards by conducting activities and maintaining systems that secure Adecco’s position as provider of the highest quality service to customers.

5. Consult and coordinate with Branch Manager to better understand clients’ needs, maximize level of service, encourage relationship building, provide cost effective service solutions to customer demands and strategize on methodologies to achieve and exceed Adecco financial goals and objectives.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent staffing industry experience.

2. One to two years experience in a service-provider environment that requires self-management and multi-tasking.

3. Able to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally. Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.

4. Must be proficient in Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite.

5. At least 2 years of Staffing Industry Experience


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Able to set own priorities, schedule days events, make cold calls, prepare and give formal presentations.

2. Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws.

3. Able to manage multiple tasks and handle multiple problems simultaneously.

4. Must be able to travel within geographical region.

5. Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills.

6. Able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly.

7. Able to operate various pieces of office equipment including but not limited to computer, keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier and phones as required by position.

8. Able to sit at desk or stand for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work typically performed in office environment. As required by position, able to travel for short or extended periods of time to other Adecco and client business locations, vendors and other business related destinations.
